Training season’s back on. As Deadline first reported and Billboard has confirmed, Dua Lipa has notched another film role, as the English pop star is set to star in A24’s Peaked.

Directed by Molly Gordon, Lipa will appear alongside a cast that already boasts Emma Mackey, Connor Storrie, Laura Dern, Amy Sedaris, Gabby Windey, Jaya Harper, Owen Thiele, Simone Ashley, Levon Hawke and Mitra Jouhari.

The comedy will reportedly go into production in April. Details of the Grammy-winning singer’s role in the movie are currently unknown. Per IMDB, Peaked‘s plot centers around two girls who terrorized people in high school, but are trying to relive their glory days at the school’s 10-year reunion.

Dua Lipa previously featured as Mermaid Barbie in 2023’s Barbie blockbuster, and followed up with the role of LaGrange in Argylle a year later, where she played Henry Cavill’s love interest. The singer lent “Dance the Night” to the Barbie soundtrack, which netted her a top 10 Billboard Hot 100 hit.

“I loved being on set,” Lipa told TIME earlier this year. “I love the idea of embodying a different character and having an assignment. I also love when I go to a photo shoot, and I can completely change up my look. It gives me like a different persona.”

The 30-year-old has yet to release a single in 2026, as fans await Lipa kicking off the rollout of her fourth studio album. In February, Lipa collaborated with Danny L Harle for “Two Hearts,” which landed on the British producer’s Cerulean album.
